Honesty and Business
It is amazing how in this fast lane of travel we seem to be living in we become
so involved with ourselves that we forget to notice even the basic answer to
the need of others. Throughout my business career of nearly 28 years I do not
ever stop and think that giving without precondition (in my case information,
advice and real life experiences I can tell future customers about passed ones
are priceless) and concern of being taken advantage of by the caller may someday
leave me hurt and disappointed. By letting those concerns control me I would
certainly have a much less enjoyable life than I had for sure. Because of those
principles I have never even considered screening my calls or even have a person
answer my phone for fear of giving or even talking to the undeserving ones.
Of course I have a lot to show and be proud of and very few regrets. God bless
my grandmother who taught me early on "Forget the good you do but always
remember the bad you give".
