In my 27 years in business I can count many accomplishments (being still in business
successfully as the biggest of all), but the one I thought of the other day looms quite big:
I have never bought any (and I mean nothing) except packing tape for all the shipping we
have done from day one on. We have been able to accomplish that by holding on to
all packing coming to us including pallets, cartons, strapping and all the materials that
could be reused. For the smaller packing that almost entirely we use UPS we shred all
incoming junk mail and we use it. It is ironic since I am not a greenie or a tree hugger but its
remarkable when I figured to have saved at least two trees per week which comes to
an astounding forest of over 25,000 trees. I am quite proud of having made that big
contribution to this wonderful planet of ours.
