Ingredients:
1 individual brioche, High quality ice cream, such as vanilla,
strawberry, or lemon.I remember eating an ice-cream-and- brioche panino on the small island of Ustica, just off the coast of Sicily. I bought it on the main street-just a few shops and caffès and a sleepy little piazza that seemed to turn to liquid in the shimmering heat haze. The ice cream panino tasted cool and refreshing, and it felt good to be in that gelateria, out of the relentless sun.
Split the brioche in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through. With a big spoon, gently pack the brioche with ice cream. Press the sides of the brioche together to enclose the ice cream in the bread. Serve immediately.
