I am the first to compliment profusely Starbuck for it's success, however, I have one point to make about their coffee "everybody knows it's overroasted." Imagine being invited to a steak house for the first time in your life and being served a steak very very well done. You definitely would enjoy it because of the fact that you were very hungry, and you would continue going to that steakhouse and eating the same steak. One day you happen to be by my coffee stand at the World Trade Center in Dallas (this is an actual story) and you comment that, "Wow!" my coffee tastes good. This is definitely better than Starbuck. The fact is that after eating well done steaks for a long time, if you happen to be in a place where you have a medium rare and taste the real meat, you realize what you've missed. That is what happens to a lot of people when they taste my espresso blend after drinking Starbucks for a long time.
