Due to the great influx of calls, I have come up with a way to make gelato profitably. There are very few alternatives to serve gelato short of opening a gelateria to the tune of $250,000 +. This would definitely guarantee you equipment for production of the base, aging of base, batch freezing, displaying of the product, and consulting with onsite training (75 hours). Of course not many people are ready to spend this amount, especially to add gelato to an existing operation. This is not an easy thing to do.
