Vicious Circle in Telephone answering

It just dawned on me why I am so efficient and it is because I have never let myself fall into what I can best describe as the Vicious Circle. It is quite common now a days for people to let machines or employees answer the phone that they should answer themselves in the first place. I just noticed that everybody call back is on the other line, answering calls that should have been answered before. The problem with taking messages is that you enter the vicious circle. Suppose you would answer the phone yourself when it rings then you would complete the matter right there and then but if somebody takes some message for you, You not only loose the pleasure most of the time you also loose the business, since most people are turned off by message taking either by machine or by person and the chance of letting the need disappear or chill off are great. Now I can explain why so many people are surprised to talk to me when they first call and my chances of completing a business deal are much greater that way. Keep on calling when you are excited I will fire your excitement further.
I love my customers (past and future) that is why I answer their calls without screening and without hesitation.
